Abstract

In each country, the incidence of menstrual pain an average of 50%. Dysmenorrhoea affect the daily activities of young women by 85%. This study aims to identify and explain the influence of predisposing factors (knowledge, attitudes), enabling (infrastructure, resources), reinforcing (family) on the quality of pain control in adolescents experiencing dysmenorrhea in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Terrain Year 2016. This study is analytic quantitative and cross sectional design. The data analysis consisted of univariate analysis. Bivariate using Chi-square test. Using a multivariate logistic regression. The study population all over female students grade one and two totaled 187. The sample was taken by purposive sampling, 141 samples didapatlah. The results showed the quality control menstrual pain is not good majority of 105 votes (74.5%), and 36 (25.5%) of good quality. The results of chi square test there is influence between predisposing factors to quality control menstrual pain, with p Value knowledge (p = <0.001), attitude (p = 0.001). There is a reinforcing factor influence on the quality control menstrual pain, p Value family (p = 0.001). No effect of enabling factors to quality control menstrual pain. Multivariate analysis of the most influential variable is the knowledge with Exp (B) =12.362.
