About the Journal

Jurnal Sains dan Informatika (Print - ISSN : 2459-9549, E-ISSN : 2502-096X)

Informatics is a very broad and multidisciplinary branch of science, which includes various fields such as computer science, information science, information systems, computer engineering, and information applications in management information systems, within the scope of designing, and creating basic computing systems that can process and present information effectively and efficiently. Informatics also deals with the cognitive and social aspects of using information in various contexts, such as bioinformatics, medical informatics, and library informatics.

Therefore, the Journal of Science and Informatics (JSI) publishes research articles that cover all of the above, including the use of computers and/or smartphones in the fields of:

Development of enterprise information system activities, empowerment and development of social commerce, learning, games, utilization of geographic information systems (GIS), empowerment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, management of database systems to a large scale (big data) and data science, computer network systems and the Internet of Things (IoT) locally and globally.

JSI is published twice a year in April and November.

( Informatika merupakan cabang ilmu yang sangat luas dan multidisiplin, yang mencakup berbagai bidang seperti ilmu komputer, ilmu informasi, sistem informasi, teknik komputer, dan aplikasi informasi dalam sistem informasi manajemen, dalam lingkup perancangan, dan pembuatan sistem komputasi dasar yang dapat memproses dan menyajikan informasi secara efektif dan efisien. Informatika juga berkaitan dengan aspek kognitif dan sosial dari penggunaan informasi dalam berbagai konteks, seperti bioinformatika, informatika medis, dan informatika perpustakaan.

Dengan demikian Jurnal Sains dan Informatika (JSI) ini menerbitkan artikel-artikel hasil penelitian meliputi semua hal diatas, termasuk pemanfaatan komputer dan/atau smartphone dalam bidang :

Pengembangan kegiatan Sistem Informasi enterprise, Pemberdayaan dan pengembangan social commerce, pembelajaran, game, Pemanfaatan sistem informasi geografis (GIS), Pemberdayaan sistem Atificial Intelligence (AI), Pengelolaan sistem basis data sampai pada skala besar (big data) dan data science, Sistem jaringan komputer dan Internet of Things (IoT) secara lokal maupun global ).

JSI terbit 2 kali dalam satu tahun yaitu bulan April dan November
