The method used is IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and IPS (Intrusion Prevention System). Based on results and discussion obtained _ in conclusion , that the snort has designed and configured with Good capable detect manipulated attack _ with port scanning and also Ping Of Death performed by the attacker against the server and then prevented with enable firewall features through configuration IPTables .
