Abstract

As the internet develops, many officesor companies use the internet to facilitate the flow of information communication in it.Network speed is also necessary to assist in completing work, so it need stobe maintained stable. Maintaining afair and equitable network can be done in several ways, one of which is by determiningthe locationofthe accesspointmustbe verygood.Accesspointplacement is necessary to optimize the signal strength received by thetransmittertothereceiver.Theparameterthatinfluencestheperformance ofthe accesspointisthe signal strength value, thisiswhat will be used to determine the coverage area (signal coverage) ofan accesspoint. The strength of the signal receivedby the receiverdoesnotonly dependon thedistance betweenthetransmitterandreceiverbutshowslargevariationsinfadingandshadowingatalocation, also the effect of interference can cause a decrease in the signal received by the receiver, there forethisstudyusesthe Simulated
Annealing method with testing Quality of Service (QoS) to solve theseproblems.
