Abstract

Omicron is the latest variant of the corona virus which also causes the disease Covid-19. Citing the Covid19.go.id page, this variant spreads faster than other COVID-19 variants, but with milder symptoms or tends to be asymptomatic. This variant has been detected in several countries since it was first discovered on the African continent. This type of variant was first detected in South Africa. This variant is referred to as one that is very fast in transmitting the virus. The emergence of the Omicron variant reminds all of us to be more aware of the risks that arise, and it is hoped that the public will know the symptoms and handling of the infection. The purpose of writing this article is to see the determinants of the incidence of omicron infection. Research Results: That from the results of the search that the Omicron infection was transmitted very quickly and with mild symptoms and prevention, by increasing the body's immunity, the wrong vaccine was given.
