PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PERAWATAN PRAKONSEPSI MELALUI EDUKASI TEMAN SEBAYA

Abstract
Periode prakonsepsi merupakan waktu tepat untuk mengoptimalkan kesehatan ibu dan bayi.. Remaja merupakan salah satu kelompok umur yang berisiko mengalami masalah kesehatan prakonsepsi akibat kejadian kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan sampai perilaku negatif yang dapat memperburuk status kesehatan mereka. Oleh sebab itu, remaja perlu memperoleh informasi tentang perawatan prakonsepsi agar dapat mengoptimalkan kesehatannya secara keseluruhan. Edukasi teman sebaya merupakan salah satu variasi edukasi yang efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap perawatan prakonsepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh edukasi teman sebaya terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap perawatan prakonsepsi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy intervensit before and after with control group. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Rematri di SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta. Analisis data menggunakan uji T berpasangan, Wilcoxon, T tidak berpasangan, Mann Whitney, dan Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap perawatan prakonsepsi antara kedua kelompok dengan nilai p= 0,037dan p=0,001. Subjek yang mendapatkan edukasi teman sebaya berpeluang 1,3 kali memiliki pengetahuan baik dan berpeluang 1,4 kali memiliki sikap baik (positif) tentang kesehatan prakonsepsi dibandingkan kelompok yang mendapatkan edukasi dengan ceramah. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh edukasi teman sebaya terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswi SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta tentang perawatan prakonsepsi.

ABSTRACT
The preconception period is the right time to optimize the health of mothers and babies. Adolescents are one of the age groups that are at risk of experiencing preconception health problems due to unwanted pregnancies to negative behaviors that can worsen their health status. Therefore, adolescents need to obtain information about preconception care in order to optimize their overall health. Peer education is a variation of education that is effective in increasing knowledge and attitudes towards preconception care. This study aims to determine the effect of peer education on knowledge and attitudes towards preconception care. This type of research is a quasy experiment before and after with a control group. This research was conducted on young women at Muhammadiyah 8 Junior High School Surakarta. Data analysis used paired T test, Wilcoxon, unpaired T, Mann Whitney, and Chi Square. The results showed that there were differences in increasing knowledge and attitudes towards preconception care between the two groups with p = 0.037 and p = 0.001. Subjects who received peer education had a 1.3 times chance of having good knowledge and a 1.4 times chance of having a good (positive) attitude about preconceptional health compared to the group who received education through lectures. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of peer education on the knowledge and attitudes of Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta Junior High School students regarding preconception care.
