THE DESCRIPTION OF QUALITY OF LIFE OF WOMEN WITH POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME: LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder involving hormonal imbalance in women and can impact the female reproductive system. PCOS can affect women of reproductive age, typically between 15 and 40 years old. With various symptoms, PCOS can influence the body's condition, including infertility, mental health, and the overall quality of life for women experiencing it. The method used in this article is literature review. This literature review aims to see how the quality of life of women with PCOS is described. This literature review examines 8 articles that use quantitative research and cross-sectional studies. Based on the review, it can be seen how PCOS can have an impact on women's quality of life, especially in the domains of physical health, psychological well-being, social relationships and relationships with the environment.
