WHO menganjurkan pemberian 60 mg zat besi selama 6 bulan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan fisiologis ibu hamil agar terhindar dari anemia. Penyerapan zat besi sangat dipengaruhi oleh adanya vitamin C. Salah satu buah yang kaya akan vitamin C adalah jambu biji merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektivitas jus jambu biji merah terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil anemia yang mengkomsumsi tablet Fe di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan rancangan Quasi Eksperiment dan menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi seluruh ibu hamil anemia berjumlah 31 orang dengan sampel 13 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan univarit dan bivariat menggunakan uji t dependen. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai p value= 0,000 < α 0,05. Kesimpulannya ada efektivitas jus jambu biji merah terhadap kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil anemia yang mengkomsumsi tablet Fe. Disarankan kepada pihak Puskesmas untuk memberikan informasi mengenai Efektivitas Jus Jambu Biji Merah (Psidium Guajava Linn) sebagai alternatif peningkatan kadar Hemoglobin Pada Ibu Hamil Anemia.

ABSTRACT


 


WHO recommends giving 60 mg of iron for 6 months to meet the physiological needs of pregnant women to avoid anemia. The absorption of iron is strongly influenced by the presence of vitamin C. One of the fruits that are rich in vitamin C is red guava. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of red guava juice on hemoglobin levels in anemic pregnant women who consume Fe tablets in the Payung Sekaki Public Health Center Pekanbaru in 2021. This type of research is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental design and uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The population is all anemic pregnant women was 31 people with a sample of 13 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using dependent t test. The results of the study obtained p value = 0.000 < 0.05. In conclusion, there is the effectiveness of red guava juice on hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant women who consume Fe tablets. It is recommended to the Puskesmas to provide information about the effectiveness of red guava juice (Psidium guajava linn) as an alternative to increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with anemia.
