TINDAKAN PENGURANGAN RISIKO PENULARAN COVID-19: SELF JUSTIFICATION PERAWAT DALAM INFORMATION SEEKING

Abstract

During Covid-19 pandemic, health workers, especially nurses, have potential to have a high risk of transmitted infection. This study aims to knowing effect of Measures to Reduce Risk of Transmission Covid-19: Self-Justification of  Nurse Information Seeking in Hospitals in Makassar City. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research using a cross sectional approach and correlational analytic methods to connect two variables in a situation or group of people. This research was conducted in several hospitals in Makassar City, South Sulawesi (Hasanuddin University Hospital, Pelamonia Hospital, Labuang Baji Hospital, and Dr. Tajuddin Chalid Hospital). Sampling in this study uses Purposive Sampling, the number of samples amounted to 360 nurses. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Self Justification test for the action reducing risk transmission (Information Seeking) is p = 0.025 with a value= 0.05 (0.025 < 0, 05) It means Ha is accepted, H0 is rejected, it can interpreted there is an effect of Self-Justification on measures of reducing  risk of transmission through information seeking on nurses in hospitals in Makassar City. The stronger nurse's self-justification, the better and more appropriate nurse's actions reducing the risk of disease transmission
