Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed health behavior so dramatically that the evolving model of delivering health care in the form of telehealth has received unprecedented attention worldwide as a protective measure against COVID-19. This study aims to analyze and explore the factors that shape and influence the interest in using telehealth in COVID-19 patients who live in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. By utilizing cross-sectional quantitative methods, the results of the PLS-SEM analysis of this study revealed that the interest in using telehealth in COVID-19 patients was influenced by perceived ease of use (β = 0.239, T-value = 2.692, P-value = 0.007) and also perceived usefulness (β = 0.371, T-value = 4.076, P-value = 0.000) of telehealth. Thus, this study confirms that perceived convenience and usefulness are among the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) variables that can influence the behavior of interest in using telehealth.
