Abstract

Stroke is a neurological disease which if not handled properly will cause disability or even death Hemodynamic instability is one of the causes of the worsening of post-stroke patients. For this reason, appropriate nursing intervention is needed to address it. This study aims to determine the effect of progressive mobilization of level I on blood pressure and oxygen saturation in stroke patients. The study design used a one-group pre-test and post-test design in which post-stroke patients were given progressive level mobilization treatment. Samples numbered 44 people with a consecutive sampling technique. Data collection by measuring blood pressure with a sphygmomanometer and oxygen saturation with oximetry. The results of the study using the Wilcoxon test showed that there was an effect of progressive mobilization of level 1 on blood pressure and oxygen saturation with a p-value of 0.00. Thus the blood pressure and oxygen saturation of stroke patients can be stabilized with progressive mobilization level I nursing interventions.
