Along with the development of technology, especially after the post-COVID-19 pandemic, all activities are forced to become a system that is integrated with data. This attendance data is very important to manage because it is to pay salaries intensively and so on. Attendance information systems that still use manual hardcopy are quite vulnerable to unstructured archiving. Therefore, it is necessary to update the attendance system to avoid data loss and make it easier to do the recording to make work effective and efficient. The transition from manual attendance system to mobile attendance is expected to achieve the goal of structured human resource management in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Laboratory, Universitas Putra Indonesia Yptk Padang, so that Laboratory Assistants can work professionally. Discipline is a form of professional attitude of an employee at work because disciplined behavior will also produce good performance. This study aims to find out how online attendance improves the discipline and performance of labor assistants at the FKIP UPI Yptk Padang Laboratory. In this writing, researchers use qualitative research methods; qualitative research is descriptive and usually uses analysis. The results of this study revealed that the mobile-based attendance system has been running effectively, marked by timely attendance compared to previous manual attendance. Because the application is equipped with the validity of attendance with photos and attendance collection location points, the level of fraud in attendance and performance looks minimal, so work can be completed on time even though students also have to carry out lectures. In addition, if the laboratory assistant is not present, then a salary deduction is sanctioned.
